The American Forest Foundation is a national conservation organization that empowers family forest owners to care for their land and deliver clean water, wildlife habitat, carbon sequestration and storage, and sustainable wood supplies. They work with a wide range of partners to develop strategies, solutions, and partnerships to help landowners overcome challenges to creating well-managed forests. They oversee programs such as the American Tree Farm System, the Family Forest Carbon Program, and My Sierra Woods.
