Rhode Island Blood Center is a non-profit community blood center that supplies blood to all hospitals in Rhode Island. They have six donation centers and work with organizations to make giving blood convenient. They also register people for the National Marrow Donor Program, collect stem cells, provide therapeutic treatments, conduct DNA testing, and are involved in research programs. Their mission is to ensure patients have immediate access to a safe, plentiful, and cost-effective blood supply.
