What is your guaranteed increase?

We guarantee our coaching will help you increase your offer's total compensation by at least $10,000 for our Standard and Startup packages, $15,000 for our Premium package, or $20,000 for our Leadership package. If we don't exceed that threshold, then you'll be eligible for a full refund of your fee! Typically our outcomes are much higher than this guarantee.

For Premium and Leadership clients, we will only use the offer you end up accepting.

For Standard and Startup clients, you do not need to accept the offer to be eligible for the refund if we do not meet our guarantee. Please note that we do not guarantee an increase if you're considering a new-grad / student programs offer or if you're considering a contract-to-full-time / intern-to-full-time conversion offer. Who are the coaches?

Our coaches are technical recruiters with extensive backgrounds recruiting for private and public companies. Every coach has at least 8+ years of total recruiting experience for a variety of roles including technical, non-technical, engineering, product, sales, marketing, and more.

Our Leadership coaches have extensive recruiting and coaching experience for senior leadership (Directors/VPs) and executive (EVPs, C-Suite) roles. All Leadership coaches have over 10+ years of full time recruiting experience.

What roles do you support coaching for?

Professionals with at least 1 year of experience in any role (Software Engineer, Product Designer, Operations, Sales, etc.) from mid-level up to executive roles.

What do I get when I book? How does it work?

You'll start with a 30-minute 1-on-1 call with a recruiter to evaluate your offer and strategize your negotiations. You'll also receive up to 2 additional follow up calls with your coach if you book the Standard, Startup, or Premium packages. You'll also have unlimited email support from your coach for the duration of your package or until you accept an offer. Your coach will be at your back all the way through to answer questions and help guide you through the process for any companies you get offers from.

Our negotiation coaching is a hands-on partnership. You'll keep your coach informed throughout the interview and negotiation process. Your coach will guide you along the way answering any questions you might have about the negotiation process, compensation, recruiting, etc. They are also there to provide useful talking points and scripts for you to use during negotiations, so that you know exactly what to say and how to say it.

When should I book?

As early as you can. Negotiations can start in that first recruiter phone screen, so being prepared to handle any compensation-related questions from the beginning will set you up for success down the line.

Do you help negotiate leveling?

We can help, but we cannot make any guarantees on the success and generally try to avoid it altogether unless your situation warrants it. Leveling is most often determined by your experience and your interview performance. If a company is set on your level, it can be difficult to negotiate. If you have a unique situation and want to see if we can help your leveling negotiations, please email us at services@levels.fyi and our team can determine if we'd be able to help.

What is the risk my offer gets rescinded?

If you follow the guidance of our coaches, your offer will not get rescinded by trying to negotiate. Even companies that do not negotiate offers still expect you to negotiate! Our coaches have a wide range of experience across multiple industries and companies of all sizes, so we'll be able to evaluate and guide you on the best way to approach it with no risk of a rescinded offer.

Which package should I book?

Standard Package: If you anticipate an offer from a public or late stage tech company, this is the perfect package for you. Our coaches have extensive experience recruiting for those companies and helping candidates maximize their single offer through proven negotiation strategies.

Startup Package: If you anticipate an offer from a startup (Seed-Series D+) or late-stage private company, this would be the right package! Our coaches have extensive experience recruiting for all stages of startups, so they'll be able to help evaluate your offer and guide you through the negotiation process with startup-specific guidance.

Premium Package: If you have or expect multiple offers, choose this package. Our coaches will help you leverage your offers against each other to maximize your total compensation. Our coaches here can also help with startup and big tech negotiations, so you'll partner with someone who has a well rounded background in recruiting.

Leadership Package: If you're a Director, VP, SVP, or C-Suite executive, this is the package for you. Our leadership coaches specialize in negotiating complex executive compensation packages including equity grants, performance bonuses, severance terms, and more. They understand the unique dynamics of executive-level negotiations and have extensive experience at the highest levels.

Am I too late to book?

If you've already accepted an offer or made an attempt to negotiate on your own, we aren't as likely to be successful. We suggest booking sooner, rather than later.

I can negotiate myself, is this worth it?
