Warren Buffett once said that it is wise for investors to be “fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful.” [1]

That said I don't think the markets have dropped completely yet. Hold tight to what you have. If you have cash to spare then perhaps increase how much you invest in (invest in index funds on a weekly or some regular basis). I think the market can still drop another 20% or so.

what my senior said to me back in the day was...

"you know it's going DOWN, that means it will go UP in near future, so one should buy a some more with a calculated risk factor and when it goes UP, they should sell it at current (higher) value."
