Senior Associate is 🥜, Principle is good pay + some carry, for Partner its all about carry, though base pay is quite nice too (whatever management fees allow).

For Deloitte, partner is with a CPA. Principal is a partner without one. ED is just a salary level instead of ownership

Did you maybe mean Senior Manager? Thats definitely a stage closer to Partner &amp; Principle. And there’s also a Managing Director that’s equal to P&amp;P, which I’m super curious about, re: base income and overall income structure.
