Switching from BI to DS

HelloSo I am thinking of switching from my current BI role to a DS role. Was wondering if anyone has any advice on what to expect and if possible can get any referrals. I am based out of Montreal, Canada&nbsp;

You're gonna want to make sure you know some of the basic tools like Python, R, Java, some ML, and of course, have solid stat skills.

Neither works in a vacuum so the transition shouldn't be too difficult. If anything, having BI skills positions you better for leadership roles since both work well together to draw insights for both the business and it's customers. Any specific companies you're looking at transitioning to?
