Salesforce RSU refreshers for PMTS

Question

Does Salesforce give RSU refreshers for PMTS ? If so what would be the avg number of RSUs? How does Salesforce retain employees after RSU cliff?

I worked for Salesforce for 3 years. It requires a lot of documentation, politics and approvals to get RSUs. Some talent gets it, but it’s reserved for very, very few people.

And you need to start talking about it at least 12 months out. Mine took 6 months and I had the vertical’s VP and the regional directors support.

I heard Salesforce doesn't really offer refreshers for most IC roles, even quite senior level ones unless you're a very top performer. Not sure how that process works, but I don't think there's a formal amount anyways. Most of my Salesforce friends ended up leaving to find significantly higher pay elsewhere, so I guess the answer is that they don't really end up retaining employees. Seems like high churn.

Recruiter told me it’s an every other year thing, but I only started this year so can’t give you any more than that.  Would love to hear from some folks who are at Salesforce now and have been there for a few years.
