Is the hiring freeze still there in the Bay Area ?

Has anyone recently been able to crack SWE interviews and changed their company ? I wanted to know if there are any companies without hiring freeze and are still accepting applications&nbsp;

Hiring sucks in Q4 and it especially sucks now that FAANGs are all struggling to meet their targets.

I know some of my friends moved back n forth between Google, Amazon and Microsoft. BUT I would say the chances are very slim to even get a call right now due to market condition.Personal Suggestion: If possible stay where you are until market is up.

Passed a FAANG OA recently and got moved to in-person interviews... which will happen at the start of *next year* lol

Yes and no, the freeze is in place for most inbound at larger companies, but for exceptional and senior candidates, even these companies are still very much hiring. A lot of smaller to mid size companies never stopped hiring.
