I just kind of fell into it. Had the chance to work on a product my company wanted to roll out and went from there. I think working at smaller companies helps with that transition a bit more because they are a lot more mobile and can launch/optimize products a lot quicker.

Thanks for responding. I have been trying to get into the PM roles but they have all been asking for product experience. So its been a challenge for me so far.
