Can you please evaluate this offer for an L5 role in hardware team in Redmond, WA.

Asking for a friend: Fresh PhD graduate ( No YOE)

Base: 140K

Signing bonus: 100k (total over 2 yrs)

Stock: 150K (total vested in 4 yrs)

Thanks for all the replies,Was Negotiated to 145/120(base/signing), a total of 1st and 2nd yr TC of 210k/220k.

Good offer, but Amazon has a pretty strange vesting schedule, you should map out how your comp looks over the 4 years

Do you know how to calculate the total compensation? Would suggest calculating the TC and editing your post to include it rather than having us do the math. You should be able to calculate how much you'll make in the first year but using the vesting schedules for each.
