AMD Levels

Question

Anyone can throw light on AMD LEVELS and how the offer negotiation process goes? Going through a Program Manager role process and any idea on the compensation is welcomed. Whats the base I should ask for?

It depends on your experience and the team you are interviewing for. It also depends on the location, like in US for same experience you can expect a designation or 2 higher from Asia.
It also depends on the company you are coming from. So without more details it's very difficult to say anything.

Be wary of specific advice you get from forums such as this as AMD, and all companies, will always have more insight about levels, comp, comparisons, than you will. Best way to handle a negotiation is to deflect, defer, and decline to discuss comp until the offer is made. Then, you have leverage.
