Risk Quant Salary

Question

I am working as a model validation risk quant (Vice President Level) for CITI bank (Irving-Texas). My base salary is 140K. Is this salary is too low for a VP in investment banking industry ?

Also keep in mind your not in investment banking. Quant risk is middle office or back office. Generally its less pay, but you can have a reasonable work life balance if you can find the right place.

Citi has the lowest pay among the big four. You can probably get that pushed up ten. TC at other big four for VP (not lead) for quant risk dev is somewhere between 165-200.
