I also try to throw in a technical question based on what's been said to me in one of the previous interview rounds, to demonstrate I've already got some grasp of the challenges the team is facing.

I always ask 3 questions:1) ask about how the role fits in the overall strategy for the team/company2) what they think are areas of improvement 3) a wacky question like, “what’s a superpower you’d hate to have?”
