Compensation check

Question

I have 8 yrs(4 in Canada) of experience in full stack(Angular, C#, Azure) and being paid $125k in Toronto.

Is that fair compensation? Or should I level up myself according to the market standards?

What could be the ideal range, I should look at?

Of course... american companies in Canada could push you up to 190-220...

Nope, that's not fair compensation. I think $150K-180K is more like it.

Level up to the market standards. I feel like $125k can still be junior/mid level salary — all depending on location of course..

You could make 250k+ USD. Major US cities hire jr devs for $120k at jr level. Even if you account for your location etc, you could basically double your salary, potentially triple it, if you're willing to put in the work.
