Changing from employee to contractor -- any tips on calculating pay?

As title suggests, would like some help calculating a new hourly rate to charge employer due to relocation and having to switch from employee to self-employed. Has anyone done this before, what did you do?

2-3x after you calculate hourly. Use gross because your benefits will be eliminated as well.

2-3x. You need to account for the cost of benefits, time off, no rsu, and self employment taxes
